Lubowo, Stargard County

Lubowo ( German Lübow ) is a village in the municipality of Stargard ( Stargard in Pomerania ) in Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Geographical location

Lubowo located in Eastern Pomerania on the river Ihna, about six kilometers north of the small town of Stargard and 29 kilometers east of the city of Stettin ( Szczecin).

History

The parish village was a property of the town of Stargard. Around the year 1780 there were in Lübow a Lehenschulzengut, five full- farmers, seven half- farmer, schoolmaster, and also taking into account the storage and shepherds houses a total of 21 fireplaces. In 1864 Lübow had 170 inhabitants, 80 buildings, including 29 homes; Beyersdorfsche the mill had 21 inhabitants, three buildings and a residential building.

Around 1925, the boundaries of the municipality Lübow had a surface area of 4 km ², and in the municipality were 34 houses. In the municipality there were two places of residence:

By 1945 Lübow belonged to the district of Pomerania Pomerania.

Towards the end of World War II was the beginning of March 1945 Klempin occupied by the Soviet army. After the war, as Lubowo Lübow was part of Poland.

Religion

The population in 1945 to present in Lübow belonged to the Protestant denomination. In 1925, all inhabitants of Lübow Protestants.
