Luca Tognozzi

Luca Tognozzi (born 3 October 1977 in Florence ) is an Italian footballer who is since summer 2009 in Pescara Calcio in Serie B under contract.

Career

Luca Tognozzi began his career in 1996 at Colligiana Calcio, for whose team he in the fifth- highest division, Series D, aground. Two years later, he joined the amateur club Castiglionese and signed the following year at the then third division Montevarchi Calcio Aquila 1902., Where he never was able to prevail and received no inserts. Tognozzi returned again in the amateur leagues and then played for ASD Fortis Juventus 1909 and AC Sansovino in Serie D. In the summer of 2003, the fourth division AC Sangiovannese took him in 1927 under contract by which he in his first season after a brief success in the playoff games against AS Gubbio 1910 promotion to the next higher league managed.

In the summer of 2005, the midfielder signed for second division Pescara Calcio. He scored two goals for the Biancoazzurri and secured with the team in the league. Then, the first division side Reggina Calcio took him under contract in which he regularly ran aground in the subsequent period. In February 2009 he was engaged by Brescia Calcio. The midfielder played 18 league matches for Brescia and took the end of the season with the team to the play-offs for promotion to the Serie A in part. After the first leg ended in a 2-2 draw, the AS Livorno won the return match 3-0 and thus secured the ascent.

After the missed promotion to Serie A Tognozzi signed in July 2009, again at the Abruzzo Pescara Calcio club. He made his debut on Matchday 1 of the 2009/10 season for Pescara, when he stood in the 2-0 home win against Rimini Calcio in the starting lineup and the entire lot by playing.

End of the season 2009/10 with him Pescara reached the summit in the second highest league. In the play-off finals, the team won against Hellas Verona.
