Lucas Saatkamp

Saatkamp Lucas ( born March 6, 1986 in Colinas ) is a Brazilian volleyball player.

Career

Saatkamp played in his first school basketball. When his college team lost its sponsor, he switched to volleyball. In 2004, he began his professional career with the Sport Club Ulbra. The following year he became world champion with the Brazilian youth in India. 2006 debuted the middle blocker in the senior national team that won the World League. 2007 moved to Saatkamp Cimed Florianópolis. With the club he succeeded in winning the cup and the Brazilians defended the title in the World League. In the following three years he was three times Brazilian champion with Cimed. The national team managed the 2009 double triumph in the World League and the South American championship. 2010 traveled as Brazil again World League champion for the World Cup in Italy, where she won the title by a final victory against Cuba. 2010/11 Saatkamp played one season at Volei Futuro. The Brazilian team was defeated in 2011 in the finals of the World League, but was again South American champions. He then moved to his present club RJX Rio de Janeiro. At the Olympic Games in London in 2012 he won the silver medal with Brazil.
