Lucia Peretti

Lucia Peretti ( born November 14, 1990 in Sondalo ) is an Italian Shorttrackerin.

They will start for the club Bormio Ghiaccio and trained since 2010 under new coach Éric Bédard at the power center in Bormio. Her international debut was at the 2008 European Championships in Ventspils. There it began in the season, but resigned in the run- off. Things went better in the World Cup 2008 in Gangneung, where she reached the final in the season and was fourth. They also launched at the World Team Championships in Harbin and was with her teammates Fifth. In the 2008 /09 season Peretti finally debuted in Salt Lake City in the World Cup. The best result in a single race, it reached over 1000 meters in her first World Cup season ranked 17. Successful she was in the relay in Beijing she took a third and a second place in Sofia and thus won their only previous World Cup podium finishes. They again took part in all the season highlights. At the European Championships in Turin, it reached the finals of the season, but was disqualified there, at the Junior World Championships in Sherbrooke, she won the relay gold medal. She performed also in the individual events and finished 20th in the all around. In the World Team Championships in Heerenveen, she was again fifth.

In the Olympic season 2009/10 Peretti took part in only one World Cup race in single race, but was unable to set the scene. They successfully, however, was on the team at the home World Cup in Bormio, where she won the bronze medal. In Sofia, the first time they took part in the Individual World Championship, the season she left there in the semifinals. Peretti qualified as a relay runner for the Olympic Games in Vancouver. In the semifinals, she was not used, but they ran in the B-final, eventually reaching sixth place in the final standings. In the 2010/11 season Peretti has only been used in a World Cup. However, they competed at the European Championships in Heerenveen and won the bronze medal in the relay.

Peretti won at the Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014 with the 3000 - meter relay bronze. At the World Cup 2014 in Montreal, she won again bronze team.
