Attractions

A waterfall located in the middle of the village. It is 12 m high and below forms several small pools and cave-like embellishments. These are formed by the minerals that flow into the creek by Fillers from the hot springs. The Lučanský Travertine is a rock formation that has formed in prehistoric times by the sources calcareous and acidic. Both objects were designated a natural monument and protected.

In addition, several natural and artificial caves are in the area. A 105 m long inaccessible cave - probably of natural origin, but expanded by people - is located in the rocky outcrops of the mountain Plieska. According to local legends, they should serve as an escape tunnel to the castle Madočany.

The name of the Plieška ( Smooth ) goes back to the fact that he was forested by massive afforestation in the 20th century. By completely monotypic tree culture of spruce significant exposure to fires and pests has emerged.
