The district Ludhiana ( Punjabi: ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ) is a district of the Indian state of Punjab. Capital of the district is the eponymous city Ludhiana.

Geography

History

Ludhiana gets its name from the Pashtun Lodi dynasty, which is believed she had the same city Ludhiana in 1480 founded.
