Ludwik III of OÅ‚awa

Ludwig III. (also Ludwig III of Ohlau; . * before 1405, † June 18, 1441 ) was from 1420 to 1423, together with his older brother Wenceslas III. Duke of Ohlau and Nimptsch, which he then reigned alone. He was also from 1431 to 1441 Duke of Lubin and Haynau.

Origin and family

Ludwig III. came from the family of the Silesian Piast dynasty. His parents were Duke Henry IX. († 1417/20 ) and Anna († 1403 ), daughter of the Duke of Teschen Przemislaus I.

Life
