Luigi Diligenza

Luigi Diligenza ( born February 10, 1921 in Arzano, † 25 May, 2011 Capua ) was Archbishop of Capua.

Life

Luigi Diligenza received on August 8, 1943, the ordination. Many years he was rector of the Seminary of Naples.

Pope Paul VI. appointed him on 1 March 1978 to the Archbishop of Capua. The Archbishop of Naples, Cardinal Corrado Ursi, donated to him on 23 April of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Tommaso Leonetti, retired archbishop of Capua, and Gaetano Pollio PIME, Archbishop of Salerno- Acerno and Bishop of Campagna.

On 29 April 1997 Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation age-related.
