Luigi Weiss

Luigi Weiss was a member of the Italian armed forces and launched for Fiamme Oro di Moena. He took in 1975 in Antholz first time at Biathlon World Championships and was part of the 49 Single Page. Next major event was the Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck in 1976, where he was sixth with Lino Jordan, Pierantonio Clementi and Willy Bertin in the relay race. In the following years, White took part in the world championships until 1983. Good ran the World Championships 1979 in Hochfilzen, where the Italians in the eleventh single and was seventh in the sprint. It reached 1979 in Ruhpolding, where he won the bronze medal in the sprint race behind Frank Ullrich and Odd Lirhus his greatest success. Weiss was also a successful ski mountaineers. In 1975, he won together with Angelo Genuin and Bruno Bonaldi the military rating Trofeo Mezzalama which this year was at the same time as the World Cup in ski mountaineering.
