Luis Amaranto Perea

Luis Amaranto Perea Mosquera ( born January 30, 1979 in Turbo) is a Colombian football player.

The defender started his professional career in 2000 with Independiente Medellín in Colombia. In 2003 he moved for a year to Boca Juniors in Buenos Aires, to switch from Argentina to Europe. Since the 2004/2005 season Perea plays at Atletico Madrid.

For the 2012/13 season Perea moved free transfer to CD Cruz Azul.

Perea has played 37 times in the Colombian national team.
