Luís Manuel Ferreira Delgado

Luís Manuel Ferreira Delgado ( born 1 November 1979 in Luanda, Angola ), known as Delgado, is an Angolan football player.

Delgado made ​​his debut in the Angolan national team in a game in and against Swaziland on March 8, 1998., The team was able to qualify for a first time in 2006 FIFA World Cup. This meant the greatest success in the sports history of the African country. At the World Cup Delgado was used in all three games of Angola.

After the 2006 World Cup, the defender moved to French club FC Metz, with whom he set up and at the end of season relegation to Ligue 1 back in 2007.
