Luis Pérez-Sala

Luis Pérez- Sala Valls - Taberner ( born May 15, 1959 in Barcelona, Spain ) is a Spanish racing driver 3000 for 1988 and 1989, two years has been involved in Formula 1 after initial successes in Formula 3 and Formula. 2006 was Pérez- Sala in Spain with a Ferrari F430 Car Club d' Andorra active as a sports car driver.

From 1985 started Pérez- Sala in the Italian Formula 3 Championship. In 1986 he won in Birmingham and Enna two races of the International Formula 3000 championship. In 1988 he drove for Minardi in Formula 1, where he trained with Adrián Campos, a purely Spanish driver duo.

For the 1990 season, Pérez- Sala was at Minardi replaced by Pierluigi Martini. Overall, Pérez- Sala took part in 32 Grand Prix events, where he qualified 26 times for the race. His best result was a 6th place, which he achieved at the Grand Prix of Great Britain at Silverstone in 1989.

In summer 2011, Pérez- Sala returned to Formula 1. Initially, he worked the traveling consultant with Spanish license racing team HRT F1 Team. In December 2011 he was appointed team manager. In this role he took over from Colin Kolles.
