Łukasz Chyła

Łukasz Chyła ( born March 31, 1981 in Dziemiany ) is a Polish sprinter.

In 2001 he won at the U23 European Championships in Amsterdam silver over 200 meters and with the Polish team gold in the 4 x 100 - meter relay. With the Polish 4 x 100 -meter relay, he came at the World Athletics Championships 2001 in Edmonton to seventh place, won silver at the European Athletics Championships in Munich in 2002 and finished at the 2003 World Championships in Paris / Saint- Denis and the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, where he reached the quarterfinals over 100 m, each fifth.

In 2005 he qualified for the World Championships in Helsinki for the quarter-finals, but refrained from there to a start. At the 2006 European Championships in Gothenburg, he retired about 100 m from the semi-final and took the Polish 4 x 100 -meter relay silver again. At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 he was part of the Polish 4 x 100 -meter relay, which did not reach the target in advance.

In 2004 he was Polish champion over 100 m. 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2008 he won the national title in the hall about 60 m.
