Luke Freeman

Luke Anthony Freeman (born 22 March 1992 Dartford ) is an English football player who is under contract with FC Stevenage since 2012.

Career

Association

Luke Freeman began his career at Charlton Athletic until he at the age of eleven years, the youth department of FC Gillingham joined in 2003. His debut in the first team of Gillingham he gave on 10 November 2007 at the FA Cup against Barnet FC. With fifteen years and 233 days, he came on in the 80th minute for Efe Sodje. Through his short stint he broke two records. He became the youngest player ever stood for Gillingham FC on the square and came in an FA Cup game used, so he pulled Lee Holmes and Billy Hughes from.

On 30 January 2008 he signed a contract with the top club Arsenal FC, but was committed for the youth team. On 8 April 2009, he got his professional contract with Arsenal. His first goal for the reserve team, he scored 15 February 2010 in a 2-1 victory over Chelsea reserve.

In July 2010, he was loaned to the team from the Football League One Yeovil Town. The loan period went until December 2010. During his first league game he scored against Leyton Orient equal to his first goal. After 13 league games and two goals, he returned in November 2010 because of an injury prematurely for Arsenal return.

On 17 November 2011 Freeman was loaned until January 2012 to FC Stevenage, with option to renew the lending arrangement. His debut, he completed two days later against Leyton Orient in a 0-0 draw. On December 26, he succeeded against Colchester United ( 6-1 ) his first goal of the season. On January 8, he returned to Arsenal after nine league games and a goal for Stevenage could produce. But two days later, he moved for an undisclosed fee fixed for Stevenage FC and signed there a four- year contract. His first game after signing the contract, he completed the 5-1 rout over the AFC Rochdale. He scored the opening goal and the 1-0 intermediate 4:1 and was involved in the development of two other gates. On January 24, he drove in a 4-2 home win over Milton Keynes Dons with three assists. National

In 2008 he graduated as part of the Tournament of Montaigu his first U-16 National team and scored in the group stage against Japan a goal. England won the final against France 5-4 on penalties. From 2008 to 2009 he played for the English U-17 national team. He belonged to the English squad at the U- 17 European Championship in Germany in 2009, resigned with the team but in the preliminary round of.

Freeman grew up in East London. He later moved with his parents to Gravesend, Kent where he attended St John's Secondary School.
