View from Vienna to eight Tobel / Vineyard

Lutz Mountain is a municipality in the canton of Appenzell front Ausserrhoden in Switzerland.

Geography

Lutz Mountain is located in Appenzell country and is the northernmost municipality in the canton. The municipality is divided into two parts, the big lies on a north slope above Rheineck and Thal. The second part of the municipality is located to the west, at the foothills of the Rorschacherbergs. Both areas are separated by the valley communities, Heiden and Wolf Halden. Therefore, the community Lutz Mountain is actually from different hamlets like Brenden, yard, pile, gorges and Vienna night. Both located in the western municipality. The deepest point of the community and also the deepest of the canton is located in the village stockpile to 430 meters. The highest point is 791 meters above the tan on the road from Vienna Eight to Grub SG. Due to the relatively low altitude and of the southern slope in Tobel, here is one of the few vineyards in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden.

History

Lutz mountain was part of the municipality of short mountain until it disintegrated in the independent communities of pagans, Wolf heaps and Lutz Mountain 1666.
