Lužianky

Lužianky ( until 1948 slovak " Šarlužky -Kaisa "; Hungarian Sarlókajsza ) is a municipality in western Slovakia. It is located in the Danube lowland at the confluence of Radošinka and Nitra, 8 km from Nitra away.

Today's church was built in 1895 by the merger of two places Šarlušky (Hungarian Sarluska, first reference in 1113 as Sorlou ) and Kajsa (Hungarian Kajsza, first reference as Kaysza ). From 1976 to 30 June 1993, the community was incorporated in the southeastern city of Nitra.

The town has a station on the railway line Nové Zámky - Prievidza.
