Lynne Thigpen

Lynne Thigpen (born 22 December 1948 in Joliet, Illinois, † March 12, 2003 in Marina del Rey, California ) was an American singer, film and television actress.

Thigpen started her career as a singer in the Off- Broadway musical Godspell. It was followed by appearances in films ( Tootsie, The hard-hitting principal, Sweet Liberty and Hello again - Back from the beyond ) as well as in television series, including the court series LA Law - Star lawyers, tricks, processes. In the television series All My Children, she played the role of Grace Keefer. In 1991, she played "Miss Hudson " in the Bill Cosby Show, first appearance here was the result of " Theo's new job (1 & 2).

The comedy Anger Management, in which she took part in the role of judge on the side of Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson, came out only after her death. In the television series The District - Use in Washington, she played her last role as Ella Farmer, the right hand of Police Chief Mannion.

Thigpen died in 2003 unexpectedly of a cerebral hemorrhage.
