Ma Huateng

Ma Huateng (Chinese马化腾/马化腾, Pinyin Mǎ HUATENG; born October 29, 1971 in Chaoyang, Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China) is a Chinese entrepreneur.

Life

Huateng studied at the Shenzhen University engineering and computer science. He developed along with a fellow student Tencent QQ and published this computer program in November 1998. Huateng directs the Chinese company Tencent. According to the U.S. Forbes magazine Huateng is one of the richest Chinese. Huateng is married and lives in Shenzhen.
