Machinemade God

Machine Made God is a German metalcore band from Essen.

History

In 2003, the band of singer Florian Velten, the guitarist Holger Kiparski and Sky van Hoff, bassist Sven Luppus and drummer Max Kotzmann was founded. Machine Made God played many concerts with the likes of Metal Caliban, God Forbid and As I Lay Dying.

Their first demo was recorded in 2004. It includes 4 songs and was recorded yourself.

In April 2005, the band made their way to Denmark in order to record their debut album The Infinity Complex. The album was produced by former Hatesphere singer Jacob Bredahl. The mastering took over Ziggy in his ZigZound Studio. In June 2005 the band played on the Pressure Festival as the first band without a record deal.

In early 2006, took the record label Metal Blade Records, they signed, and in February of the same year The Infinity Complex has been published. In the summer the band went on a four-week European tour with Evergreen Terrace.

In 2007, Machine Made God toured as a headliner by Germany. Following this, they began recording their second studio album Masked. Was produced the new album vonSky van Hoff, the guitarist of the band. The instrumental tracks were studio in Aarhus, Denmark recorded in Smart'n'Hard, the singing in the recording studio working! in Cologne. On August 24, the album was released under Metal Blade Records.

On 29 August 2008, the band announced on their MySpace page that founding member and singer Florian Velten leaves the band.
