Background
The album is different in the first part due to the electronic influences significantly from the albums the Rosenstolz published previously. This had mainly nostalgic reasons. So, the first single " Star missiles," a tribute to the German New Wave and 1980s. "Star Rocket" is symbolic of happiness. The music video was directed by Joern Heitmann. The red tracksuits in it are an allusion to the movie "The Royal Tenenbaums ". In the video for the single Anna R. and Plate are exposed to on a strange planet for it ( the earth). The single was even possible entry into the dance charts.
Furthermore, the musical change was justified, that Plate was inspired again by demo tapes at the beginning of the band from 1991: " Here I stumbled across old demos, so four-track things on tape, and was totally impressed by the stuff that we have done so '91 before our first plate, and thought a bit of what we have now lost along the way. Because it was shrill, as we started. That was really my only M1 keyboard and Hubba Bubba bass. I thought that you just have to try some again. The second half of the album is characterized by purely acoustic ballads.
