Maciej Bębenek

Maciej Bębenek ( born September 22, 1984 in Krakow, Poland ) is a Polish footballer.

Career

Bębenek began his professional career with his hometown club Olimpic Kraków before moving to Kmita Zabierzów in winter 2002. After three seasons in the second division of the first division Widzew Łódź 2006, attention was drawn to the midfield and took him under contract. However Bębenek came in the first half of the season 2006/2007 to only two appearances in the Orange Ekstraklasa and changed into the winter break back to his former club Kmita Zabierzów. After good performances there, the two-time Polish champions Polonia Bytom became aware of him in the winter of 2009 and signed him.

After he could not prevail at Polonia Bytom, Bębenek moved in summer 2009 to Nowy Sacz Sandecja. He was able to achieve seven goals in 31 games in the 2nd league in season 2009/10. This aroused the interest of Gornik Zabrze, so that Maciej Bębenek was obliged to 2010/11 season, where he however only partially came as a substitute for inserts. In addition, he ran for Gornik Zabrze still in the Młoda Ekstraklasa. In the second half of 2010/11 and in the 2011/12 season he came not for the first team to use. After only two appearances in the first round in 2012/13, his contract was terminated in January 2013 ahead of schedule.

That same day, gave his former club and Nowy Sacz Zweitligist Sandecja the obligation of Bębenek known. He signed a contract until the end of June 2014.
