Macinhata do Vouga is a comune ( freguesia ) of the Portuguese circuit Agueda.
Culture and sights
By 1981 opened Museu de Ferroviário Macinhata do Vouga here is a branch of the Museu Nacional Ferroviário to visit. Historic locomotives, wagons and other can be seen.
Among the monuments of the community includes historic public and private buildings, fountains, and various religious buildings, including the nave, built in the 17th century baroque parish church Igreja de Paroquial Macinhata do Vouga, after their patron saint also Igreja de São Cristóvão (German: Christophorus church).

Macinhata do Vouga is the seat of an eponymous municipality ( freguesia ) in a circle ( concelho ) of Agueda. In the municipality of 3409 inhabitants (as at 30 June 2011) on an area of 32 km ².
