Mads Langer

Mads Langer ( born 1984 in Skive ) is a Danish singer- songwriter who became famous with his cover version of the songs Olive You're Not Alone.

Life

Mads Langer, whose parents are both teachers, began playing the piano at age three. He studied jazz piano at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and learned to play the guitar at the same time. His first album Attention Please was released in 2006 under the label Copenhagen Records. Three years later the album Mads Langer, which reached # 12 in the Danish charts. After club appearances in Europe, Los Angeles and New York, where long lived temporarily, he moved to London in 2009. There he met his manager know who helped him to a contract with Sony Music Entertainment. The European breakthrough came in 2011 with the album Behold and the cover- Single You're Not Alone.

In 2011, Langer Maria Mena Habits the song for her album Viktoria on. The following year he was as the opening act. With her on tour in Germany, where she recited the song in duet

End of November 2012 published the album Langer Behold Deluxe, which reached number 3 in the following month, the Danish charts. The second CD of the album contains among others, three Danish -language songs that were previously released as singles. The most successful single Overgir the mig was langsomt that went in August 2012 at # 1 and since then holds in the Danish charts.
