Magnus Brunner

Magnus Brunner ( born May 6, 1972 in Höchst) is an Austrian federal politician ( ÖVP) and seconded from the province of Vorarlberg Member of the Austrian Bundesrat. Brunner is professionally CEO of OeMAG settlement agent for green energy AG. He is married and lives with his wife and his two sons in Bregenz.

Career

After graduating from Matura Magnus Brunner studied law at the University of Innsbruck. In 1996 he completed his doctorate there a doctorate in law ( Dr. iuris ) and then began a postgraduate degree in London. In the election campaign for state elections in Vorarlberg 1999 Brunner organized as a trainee of the Industrialists' Association, the platform " Vorarlberg for LH Sausgruber ". Following this, he served for three years until 2002, office manager and spokesman for the provincial governor. During this time he worked in his home town of maximum as community representatives for the ÖVP.

After his time in the country's politics Brunner was appointed from 2002 to 2006 the political director of the Austrian Economic Association. Following this, he became Head of Corporate Development and Corporate Communications for Illwerke / Vhf group in Bregenz. Since 1 January 2007 Magnus Brunner as CEO of OeMAG - active settlement agent for green electricity.

Already since 2004, Brunner was the same time as his duties otherwise substitute member of the Austrian Federal Council. On 8 May 2009 Brunner took over the role as Vorarlberg Member of the Federal Council of Former Federal Jürgen Weiss, who retired April 30 from this office.
