Mahara Mc Kay

Mahara Mc Kay ( born March 20, 1981, New Zealand) was Miss Switzerland 2000 and has since been active as a model, DJ and producer.

Life

Mahara Mc Kay grew up as the daughter of a Swiss mother and a father with roots of the Maori in New Zealand. From 1991, she lived in Switzerland and graduated after school a prep course for the Arts and Crafts School in Aarau. In 1999, she began an apprenticeship as a decorative designer in Zurich.

As a result of the victory in the Miss Switzerland election Mc Kay stopped teaching in order to devote himself to the work as Miss Switzerland with photo shoots, interviews and appearances can.

For three years she hosted the way the English TV show cityguide.tv for Hotels in Switzerland. Since 2001 Mc Kay works independently as a model, an ambassador is more diverse brands, organized fashion shows and at various events and parties active as a DJ. Although the music is her biggest passion, she accompanies the interest in fashion and art, which they can connect their work often.
