Anita Buri

Anita Buri ( born July 3, 1978) is a Swiss presenter, model and Miss Switzerland was 1999.

The office employee from Berg (TG ) was elected Miss Switzerland in Lugano in 1999. In the same year she represented Switzerland at the Miss World beauty pageant in London and 2000 in the Miss -Universe - election in Cyprus.

With the former National Football League player Marc Hodel she was married 5 years. Together they have a son, who was born in 2002.

Sport is an important part in their lives. Since her age of 6 she dances ballet, jazz dance, hip hop / street dance and Latin. With Sonia Grandjean (Miss Switzerland 1998) and the professional dancer & choreographer Eljadusa Kedves led for 2 years a Lady Style Show Dance Group. In German-speaking Switzerland it is as a fitness ambassador for the organization " Fitness for Kids" go and teach the kids the importance of movement in everyday life.

Anita Buri works as a model ( shoots, Catwalk & TV Spots) and as a presenter for television and events. For Tele Top moderates the Thurgauerin and Wahlaargauerin since 2011 the talk show "Top Talk".

Commitment

Since 2001 she has been an ambassador for the children's charity " Camaquito ". Camaquito works politically and denominationally independent and committed to education, sports and culture in Cuba. The organization is committed to Cuban projects in schools, hospitals, dance schools, in football and in the water supply.
