Maid-sama

Maid- sama (会長 は メイド 様!, KAICHÔ wa Maid -sama! , GV " The student council president is a maid !") Is a manga series of the Japanese illustrator Hiro Fujiwara, who until 2013 was released in 2005 in Japan. The work was adapted as a radio play both series as well as an anime television series and can be classified in the genres of comedy, romance and shōjo.

Action

The Seika High School was once an all-boys school, opened with time but also for girls. By isolating a harsh climate in the classes developed so that it is very difficult to have the girls to gain a foothold and suffer greatly under the humiliations by the boys. The girl Misaki Ayuzawa (鲇 沢 美 咲) still manages to stand up to their peers and to be the first Head Girl. Because of their behavior, they shall soon as men - hater, but is respected or feared. Among other things, her family which consists of her mother and her little sister, abandoned by their father in the lurch and now sits on a large pile of debt. Since they must serve primarily male clientele there, she tries to keep her job before her classmates secret.

In school, she sees herself meanwhile often with the heartthrob Takumi Usui (碓 冰 拓 海) faced the ever refuse all declarations of love and the girls to tears. Formation and Publications

The first chapter of the subscribed by Hiro Fujiwara Manga end of December 2005 was initially released as a pilot one-shot in issue 2/2006 in the magazine LaLa from the Japanese publisher Hakusensha. The serialization was then carried out from issue 6 /2006 ( 24 April 2006). The manga ended in issue 11/2013 of the magazine, which was published on 24 September 2013. On 8 November 2013, in a special issue of the magazine, LaLa Fantasy, a special chapter appear to series.

Outside Japan, the manga by Tokyopop published in English language both in the United States and in Canada. In addition, it is translated by Chuang Yi, Ever Glory Publishing and Jonesky in Chinese and Taiwanese and published in Singapore, China and Hong Kong.

In Germany the manga under the title appears Maid- sama since September 2008 in the magazine Daisuki the publisher Carlsen Manga. Have been published since January 2009, including 15 tankōbon editions.

Adaptations

Radio plays

In Japan, three radio plays were published under the original title of the manga, KAICHÔ wa Maid -sama (会長 は メイド 様). They were published in October 2007 and May 2008, in April 2007. In addition, they appeared from February to March 2008 in LaLa DX as a supplement of the magazine. The speakers were identical to those for the anime conversion.

Anime

Directed by Hiroaki Sakurai was the manga by animation studio JCStaff same as anime television series KAICHÔ wa Maid- sama! adapted. The character design was designed by Yuki Imoto based on the drawings of the manga. For sound, Satoshi Motoyama was responsible.

The adaptation was first announced in the October 2009 issue of LaLa magazine. The first broadcast took place on 2 April to 24 September 2010 at night (and on previous TV day ) transmitted on the TBS and with one to two weeks offset the broadcasters CBC and MBS and nationwide BS -i. In parallel, also began Animax India with the broadcast.

The anime was released completely in 4 DVD boxes at Anime - label Kazé on DVD in Germany.

Music

In the opening credits of the series the title My Secret was played. It was sung by Saya Mizuno (水 野 佐 彩). In the credits, the title Yokan and Mugen Loop were played, both of heidi. were interpreted and arranged. The production of all three titles has been adopted by Geneon Universal Entertainment Japan.

Synchronization

The German synchronization was taken at the Studio TV Synchron Berlin. Dialogue directed by Sabine Sebastian, who was also responsible for the dialog book.
