Malin Baryard-Johnsson

Malin Baryard - Johnsson ( born April 10, 1975 in Söderköping, as Malin Birgitta Barijard ) is a Swedish show jumper.

Career

Six year old, she began to ride. At the age of 14, she was Swedish National Champion.

The Swedish team won silver at the European Championships in 2001 in Arnhem, and the World Equestrian Games in 2002 in Jerez de la Frontera and the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. In October 2004, they won in the 5th month of pregnancy, at a tournament in Hanover and came a month later in Stockholm second place.

It was in 2007 in some five -star Grand Prix front placed (2nd in São Paulo, 4th in Geneva and Rotterdam). She was also third in the World Cup competition in London and won the Grand Prize at the World Cup in Bordeaux.

Due to a violation of her horse Tornesch they renounced participation in the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Private / other

Malin Baryard - Johnsson is married to the television presenter Henrik Johnsson since 2004. On 25 February 2005 she gave birth to her first son, followed in 2009, another son. In 2004, she published with the Swedish music group Spanka NKPG the song Do You Wanna Ride?. Since 1996, she is sponsored by H & M, for which they also remodeled since then.
