Maltese FA Trophy

The Maltese football Cup is under the name of FA Known Trophy. The official name is the time U * Bet F. A. Trophy by the Malta's Lotteries society U * Bet. From 1995 to 2002 was called the cup competition Rothmans Trophy. The cup is a gift of the English Football Association, The Football Association in 1933. This occurred because in May 1933 the Maltese football fans for the first international match of the England team against Italy traveled to Rome to support the English team. In return, the association donated a silver cup. Inspired by the English FA Cup FA Trophy was Trophy called.

The record winners are the Sliema Wanderers with 20 Cup successes. The current Cup Winners' Cup (2013 ) is Hibernians Paola.
