Maluti a Phofung is a municipality in the district of Thabo Mofutsanyane, Free State Province, South Africa, based in Phuthaditjhaba. Mayor is Balekile Edward Mzangwa.

The community name is a compound term from the Sesothoworten for the Drakensberg ( Maluti ) and for the Mount - Aux-Sources ( Phofung ).
