The Mamer is a left tributary of the Alzette, with a length of 25.6 kilometers.

On the banks of the river flowing through Luxembourg, lie the villages Holzem, Mamer, Koplescht and Schoenfels. In Mersch Mamer opens a few feet in front of the Eisch in the Alzette, 214 meters above the sea.
