Man on Wire ( Alternative title: Man on Wire - The balancing act ) is a documentary by James Marsh in 2008 The film is based on the book over to me the open sky by Philippe Petit and tells of its implementation of an unauthorized and therefore illegal high-wire run. between the twin towers of New York's World Trade Center in 1974. the film's title was taken from the police report, which was prepared for the subsequent arrest of Petit.
