Mannō, Kagawa

Manno (Japaneseまんのう町, -chō ) is a town in Nakatado -gun in the Japanese prefecture of Kagawa.

History

Manno, then still in Kanji notation (満 浓 町, Manno-cho ) was established on April 1, 1955 from the merger of Mura and Son Kanno (神 野村, -son ), Shijō (四条 村, -mura ) and Yoshino (吉野 村, -mura ) in Nakatado -gun. On 1 July 1955, the Mura Takashino (高 筱 村) in Nakatado -gun and 30 September 1956 (长 炭 村, -mura ) incorporated the Mura Nagasumi in Ayauta -gun. On March 31, 1956, Western and on 10 October 1957 eastern district was incorporated into Kotohira.

On 20 March 2006, the Chō Manno, Chunan closed (仲 南 町, -chō ) and Kotonami (琴 南 町, -chō ) as the new Manno, this time in hiragana spelling, together.
