Mantas AdomÄ—nas

Mantas Adomėnas ( born October 1, 1972 in Vilnius) is a Lithuanian philosopher and politician.

Life

After high school from 1979 to 1990 at the middle school in Karoliniškės he graduated from 1990 to 1996 the study of classical philology at the Vilniaus universitetas (VU) and from 1996 to 2000, he earned his doctorate in philosophy at Cambridge University on the topic of Nature in Flux: Plato 's Reception of Presocratic Cosmological Theories. From 2000 to 2006 he taught at Gonville and Caius College, from 2004 as a lecturer at the VU from 2006 to 2008 he was an advisor to Andrius Kubilius, since 2008 Member of the Seimas, elected in constituency Old Town of Vilnius.

He is a member of Tėvynės sąjunga - Lietuvos krikščionys demokratai.

Adomėnas is married. Ms. Viktorija is a designer.
