Manuel Pamić

Manuel Pamić ( born August 20, 1986 in Žminj ) is a Croatian football player. Since the 2013/14 season he plays for Chievo Verona.

Career

Association

Pamić began his career at his city NK Žminj and in 2004 moved to NK Istra 1961 and two years later to HNK Rijeka. During this time he was a regular in the Croatian Junior selections used.

During the winter break of the season 2007/ 08 he spent 800,000 euros to the Austrian Bundesliga FC Red Bull Salzburg, where he signed a contract until the summer of 2011. His debut in Austria was Pamić on 15 February 2008 against SV Mattersburg, where he was allowed to start in the back four from the beginning. Pamić played by Salzburg and won 4-0. However, he only came to a total of six appearances for the first team and four on the second team, the Juniors.

In early January 2009 saw Pamić on loan for one year at the Czech club Sparta Prague. In January 2010 Pamić signed a long-term contract with Sparta. 30 percent of the undisclosed transfer fee to FC Red Bull Salzburg won Pamić ' former club HNK Rijeka. With Sparta in 2010 won the Czech championship.

In July 2013, the Italian first division side Chievo Verona announced the commitment Pamićs.

National

Pamić played from 2005 to 2008 a total of 21 caps for the Croatian junior national teams. In 2008 he was nominated by coach Slaven Bilic on call for the Euro 2008, but came to a Nachberufung not.

Since the resignation of Slaven Bilic in the summer of 2012 and the setting of Igor Štimac Pamić is again nominated regularly for the national team.
