Manuel Pérez (President of Nicaragua)

Manuel Pérez (* 1800 in Granada, Nicaragua, † 1845 ibid ) was on May 31, 1843 to September 26, 1844 to the Director Supremo ( head of state ) of Nicaragua.

He was a member of the Partido Legitimista. To prevent the Guerra de Malespín, Pérez agreed with Malespín that the Nicaraguan troops from Chinandega would retire after Chichigalpa. This concession has not been endorsed by Parliament in León. Pérez had to give up his office to Emiliano Madriz.
