Mar Chiquita

Mar Chiquita is a lagoon in the southeastern province of Buenos Aires in eastern Argentina. It is located on the Atlantic coast in the vicinity of the resort Mar del Plata.

Between 1968 and 1970, eight sounding rockets of the types Arcas, two rockets of the types Orion -1 and a rocket of the type Dragon ( with an achieved altitude of 430 miles) started at the Laguna Mar Chiquita. By the end of 1976, the launch site for missiles Rocket probe was used.
