Marciano Bruma ( born March 7, 1984 in Rotterdam as Marciano van Homoet ) is a Dutch footballer who also owns the Surinamese nationality.

Career

His career began in 2004 at Bruma Sparta Rotterdam, for which the defender played a total of 28 games. In 2007 he moved to FC Barnsley, for whom he played under the name Marciano van Homoet. At the beginning of the season 2009/10 he moved to Dutch club Willem II Tilburg. After only one season at Willem II Bruma joined the Polish Ekstraklasa to Arka Gdynia. In 2011 he joined the league rivals Lech Poznan. There his contract early February 2012, but was terminated prematurely. He changed it back to the Dutch third division Rijnsburgse Boys in Saturday's season of top class.

Private

His younger brother Jeffrey is at Chelsea under contract and is on loan to the Hamburger SV since the 2011/12 season.
