Marco Aratore

Marco Aratore (born 4 June 1991) is a Swiss football player who was under contract with FC Basel since 2009. Since January 17, 2013, is at FC Winterthur.

Club career

Marco Aratore began his career in the youth department of FC Basel, which he ran from 1999 to 2008. In the summer of 2008, he finally entered in the roster of U -21 team of FC Basel. In the 2008 /09 season he ran in 13 games in the League 1 (third division), and shot five goals for Basel. In the 2009/10 season Aratore was included in the squad for the first team of FC Basel, he completed six matches, scoring a goal and prepared three more goals before the first team of FC Basel. Aratore was also used in the same season in the U- 21 since the offensive midfielder in four games scored a goal. In 2009 he played with FC Basel also successfully three games of the Europa League qualifiers and came off the bench in the group stage in the game against CSKA Sofia in the 64th minute.

On 27 March 2010, he moved to the end of the season as Players out on loan to FC Thun in the Challenge League. It was used in seven league matches and prepared four hits before and scored two goals. The Bernese Oberland association, which had set up a number of Basel youth players in his team, has been this season Challenge League champions and rose to the Axpo Super League.

In the season 2010/11 Aratore was loaned for two years to Aarau. During this time he came in two seasons on 49 missions, scoring four goals and prepared fourteen before.

In August 2012, he reverts back to Basel, but has since played in the U-21 team of FC Basel, where he came in the first round to 16 inserts from the start, scoring 13 goals, and put another 12 matches ago. On January 17 it was announced that he was loaned to Winterthur. Winterthur took it over the summer of 2013 from Basel and gave him a professional contract.

National

Aratore has also been used in international meetings. In an U-16 Four Nations Tournament in Northern Ireland Aratore was voted the best player of the tournament. With the U-19 national team, he graduated in 2009/10 four friendly matches against teams from Croatia, Austria, Denmark and Italy ( a total of 13 games in which he scored three goals). This was followed by further international appearances with the U-20 national team ( a total of 9 games in which he scored a goal ).
