Marco Ritzberger (born 27 December 1986) is a Liechtenstein football player. He is 1.89 m tall, 83 kg heavy footed and can be used as Defensive Allrounder diverse. In addition to his defensive strengths it has offensive qualities. Both for FC Vaduz and for the Liechtenstein national football team he wears the jersey with the number 21

Career

Ritz Berger's football career began in the youth department of FC Vaduz. The majority of his youth was doing Ritzberger his footballing services but for the youth national teams of the Liechtenstein Football Association ( LFV ). Since the spring of 2006, he stands at FC Vaduz under contract. By signing this contract Ritzberger gained the status of a professional football player for the first time. His career highlights include the winning goal on 24 August 2006 2-1 home victory in the second leg of the UEFA Cup second qualifying round against FC Basel as well as winning the Challenge League championship in 2008 with FC Vaduz.

Milestones

His Challenge League debut in the then 18 -year-old on December 4, 2005 at home against AC Bellinzona. His first goal in the Challenge League scored Ritzberger on 15 March 2006 in an away game against FC Baulmes. For the first use in the Super League he arrived - the age of 21 - 20 July 2008 against FC Luzern. For the first goal is scored in the Super League came Ritzberger on December 7, 2008, when he marked the 1-0 winning goal in the match against Neuchatel Xamax.
