Marco Zanotti

Marco Zanotti ( born January 21, 1974 in Rovato ) is an Italian former racing cyclist.

Zanotti 1997 cyclist at Aki- Safi. He transferred after one year to Vini Caldirola. After two years he moved to Liquigas, where he in 2001 its first success with a stage victory celebrated in the Catalan week. Then he went for two years for the Fassa Bortolo team of Giancarlo Ferretti. Here he scored more stage wins at the Giro del Trentino, the Regio - Tour and the Catalan week.

2004 Zanotti won a stage in the Three Days of De Panne for Vini Caldirola. For the 2005 season, he joined the ProTour team Liquigas- Bianchi. Here he succeeded after several good finishes in sprints and time trials, including the Giro d' Italia, his first overall victory at the Circuit Franco -Belge. As of 2006 he rode for the Belgian Professional Continental team Unibet.com. He won a stage of the Tour of Algarve and went there two days in the leader jersey. After the 2008 season the team Preti Mangimi he ended his cycling career.
