Regio-Tour

The Rothaus Regio - Tour is an international stage race in the UCI category 2.1, which is held annually in August in the three-country region Germany -France- Switzerland.

Founded in 1985 in the race Gundelfingen at Freiburg by Rudi Renz. Since then, the five-day stage race Rothaus Regio - Tour has become one of the high-class multi-day races in Germany and in 2009 took place for the 25th time. Traditionally, a stage on French soil is discharged through the Alsace. The tour ended by 2010, always with a stage in Vogt castle on the Emperor chair.

The Rothaus Regio - Tour was until recently part of the newly founded in 2005, UCI Europe Tour and the former International German Championship.

Title sponsor is the Baden State Rothaus.
