Marcus Tracy

Marcus Tracy ( born October 2, 1986 in Philadelphia ) is an American professional football player who is under contract with the Danish first division club Aalborg BK.

Career

As a teenager, Tracy played for the Newtown High School of Newtown. After graduating, he moved to the Wake Forest University Winston -Salem (North Carolina). For the University of team he played 77 times, scoring 30 goals and had 23 assists. In his final college season, he was the best player with the Hermann Trophy, the highest award in college football, honored and elected to the NCAA First - Team All-American. In MLS SuperDraft 2009 Tracy was selected only ranked 56th by Houston Dynamo, as previously it was clear his move to Denmark.

In early 2009, finally signed a contract with Aalborg BK Tracy from Denmark until 2011. His debut in the Danish professional league he gave on March 23, 2009 against FC Midtjylland, but he scored in the 67 minutes per head for a decisive 3-2 final score. Tracy was also used once in the UEFA Cup when he came on March 19 in the 77th minute against Manchester City for Kasper Risgård.
