Marek Kuchciński

Marek Tadeusz Kuchciński ( born August 9, 1955 in Przemysl ) is a Polish politician of the Prawo i Sprawiedliwość ( Law and Justice - PiS). He's in the IV, V, VI since 2001 Member of the Sejm. and VII Term) and in July 2010 one of the Vizemarschälle (Vice President ) of the Sejm.

Life

In his youth he was with the hippie - connected movement.

In 1980 he was co-founder of an independent cultural group in Przemysl. He was one of the editors and publisher of the quarterly magazine " Strych Kulturalny " and organized the "Days of Christian Culture " in Przemysl. From 1983 to 1989 he organized together with other plastic exhibition "Man - God - World ", which was presented abroad. In the 80 years he worked in Ogólnopolski Komitet Oporu Rolników (total Polish Committee of the Peasant resistance ).

In 1989 he was in Komitet Obywatelski "Solidarity" ( Citizens Committee "Solidarity" ) in the Province of Przemysl and active nationwide. From 1990 to 1999 he was a member of the Catholic right-wing conservative Porozumienie Centrum ( center - agreement - PC). He then joined the Porozumienie Polskich Chrześcijańskich Demokratów ( agreement of the Polish Christian - PPChD ) when, after 2001, he became a member of the PiS.

From 1994 to 1999 he was a town councilor of Przemysl. From 1999 to 2001 he was deputy voivode of Podkarpackie Province ( Subcarpathian ).

The Sejmwahlen 2001 he was elected on the list of PiS in the Sejm and sat in different Sejm commissions. He was deputy chairman of the Polish - Ukrainian Parliamentary Friendship Group.

In the 2005 parliamentary elections, he was re-elected for the PiS in the Sejm, in 2006, he took over the post of chairman of PiS fraction. In the 2007 parliamentary elections, he was for the constituency Krosno for the third time with 35.060 votes deputy. On 12 January 2008 he was elected deputy chairman of PiS. He was chairman of the Sejm Commission for Environmental Protection.
