Margaret Peterson Haddix

Margaret Peterson Haddix ( born April 9, 1964) is an American writer who wrote the books for children and young adults.

Life and Family

Margaret Peterson Haddix was born on a farm in Ohio. Her father was a farmer and she has already read a lot in her childhood. After graduating she has pursued various activities around the letter.

She is married and lives with her husband and their two children, Meredith and Conner in Columbus, Ohio.

For her literary work she has already been awarded in the United States with numerous awards. She grew up on a farm near Washington Court House, Ohio, where her family had lived since the early 19th century. After completing her studies in 1986 at Miami University of Ohio, she worked in various jobs as a journalist for a daily newspaper in Indianapolis, a lecturer at a college and a freelance journalist based in Danville, Illinois.
