Maria Luisa Berti

Maria Luisa Berti ( born October 6, 1971 in San Marino ) is a politician from San Marino. She was from April 1 to October 1, 2011, together with Filippo Tamagnini Capitano Reggente (Head of State ) of San Marino.

Life

Maria Luisa Berti has a degree in Law and is a lawyer and notary. She joined in 1989 the Christian Democratic PDCS in, was a member of the Youth League and led the newspaper Azione. For the election period from 2001 to 2006, she was elected to the Consiglio Grande e Generale, the parliament of San Marino. There she was a member of the Commission for the Reform of the Criminal Code. In March 2006 she was a founding member of the political movement Noi Sammarinesi. In November 2008, she was re-elected to the Consiglio Grande e Generale, this time on the list of Lista della Libertà. In parliament, she was a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee. Maria Luisa Berti is a member of the Executive Committee of Noi Sammarinesi. She was elected for the period from 1 April 2011 to October 1, 2011, together with Filippo Tamagnini to Capitano Reggente the head of state of San Marino.
