Marie-Claire Foblets

Marie -Claire Foblets ( born November 5, 1959 in Brasschaat, Belgium) is a Belgian lawyer and anthropologist. She became a professor in 1995 the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and has since organized several workshops at the International Institute for the Sociology of Law. Since 2012 she is head of the new department for " Anthropology and Law" at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology in Halle / Saale.
