Marin Tomasov 2013

Marin Tomasov ( born August 31, 1987 in Zadar) is a Croatian football player who is under contract since 2012 the second division club TSV 1860 Munich.

Career

Tomasov started at his hometown club NK Zadar with football matches, where he went through all the junior teams. In 2006, he signed his first professional contract there and got the jersey with the number 14 back during three seasons he spent with the club, he played 72 games and scored 12 goals. In 2007 and 2008 he was called nine times in the Croatian U21 national team, where he managed a goal. In summer 2009, he moved to one of the big clubs in the Croatian football, HNK Hajduk Split. The transfer fee was in excess of € 350,000. He received the same number back in his new club.

In the first season at HNK Hajduk Split he came in the league and in the Cup 22 times used, but only eleven of them in the starting XI. He scored only two goals this season and although he was a twenty -year-old at the time, he was quite disappointed with his performance and said he wanted to strike in the future.

In the next season he succeeded. He played 26 games in the league ( 15 of them from the beginning ), where he met four times. In the Europa League 2010/11 he was nine times used ( total in qualifying and in the group stage ) and scored two goals.

Tomasov the new season started excellent. He achieved the decisive goal in the 87th minute in the opening match against HNK Sibenik. His next goal he scored in the away match against NK Istra 1961 and thus contributed to a 3-0 victory. In the next match against NK Zagreb his opening goal was already in the 50th second. In the derby against RNK Split he met again very early, but this time "only" in the 2nd minute.

In April 2012 the Court of Arbitration of the Croatian Football Federation released his contract with the club from Split prematurely due to lack of salary payments. On June 18, 2012 Tomasov signed with the "Munich lions " a three-year contract. He came into the season 2012/13 in 26 games available for use, scored two goals and prepared three more before.
