Mario Alberto Molina Palma

Mario Alberto Molina Palma OAR ( born October 13, 1948 in Panama City ) is Archbishop of Los Altos Quetzaltenango - Totonicapán.

Life

Mario Alberto Molina Palma joined the Congregation of the Augustinian Recollects on August 27, 1968 put the profession on August 28, 1971, the prelate of Bocas del Toro, José Agustín García Ganuza OAR, ordained him a priest on June 29, 1975. Pope John Paul II appointed him on 29 October 2004 as Bishop of Quiché.

He received his episcopal consecration of the Bishop of Jalapa, Julio Edgar Cabrera Ovalle, on January 22 of next year; Co-consecrators were Victor Hugo Martínez Contreras, Archbishop of Los Altos Quetzaltenango - Totonicapán, and Bruno Musaro, Apostolic Nuncio to Guatemala.

As a motto he chose Ut Ecclesia aedificationem accipiat. On 14 July 2011 he was appointed Archbishop of Los Altos Quetzaltenango - Totonicapán and introduced into the office on 17 September of the same year.
