Mario Konrad

Mario Konrad (born 22 January 1983 in Vienna) is an Austrian football player.

Career

Mario Konrad began his career in the offspring of SK Rapid Vienna and VfB Stuttgart, as well as his regular club SV Leoben village in Lower Austria. In 2001 he signed with SC Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz his first professional contract. After three years in Bregenz Konrad in 2004 moved for a year to Kapfenberg SV in the first division. From 2005 to 2007 he played at LASK Linz. For the 2007 /08 season, he was standing by the German third division SpVgg Unterhaching under contract. After just one year, Konrad moved to Bundesliga side SC Rheindorf Altach, where he completed 33 games and scored six goals.

In the 2009/10 season Konrad moved to SK Rapid Wien. 2 August 2009 Konrad scored his first goal for Rapid against SK Austria Kärnten. After Konrad in the summer of 2010 wanted to sell part of Rapid again, but found no takers, he coached since then only with the amateur team. In November, he seemed surprisingly for the first time back in the squad at the Vienna, but has played Currently no 2010/11. After the end of the season Konrad signed with regional league SV Horn. With horn he could create promotion to the First League, but moved in the summer of 2012 to FC Liefering surprisingly, the farm team of FC Red Bull Salzburg.
